Published: 30 September, 2017

A magical programme ranging from Bach to The Beatles including Carlos’ unique arrangements of Beatles songs from his number one best-selling album Magical Mystery Guitar Tour. His first recording of Joaquín Rodrigo’s Aranjuez Concerto was hailed as “a magnificent triumph” by the Classical Music magazine and in this programme Carlos plays his arrangement for solo guitar of the breathtaking Adagio theme. Featured too is music by the great Belgian composer Armand Coeck which Carlos has included in many of his recitals over the years.

Guests include the brilliant guitar player Ben Carmona who joins Carlos for some beautiful duets and the seeing-is-believing Tango Duo Dante & Moniq! The evening also includes Bach’s majestic lute suite in Eminor and music by Villa-Lobos and a traditional Malagueña.
